01 - BACKGROUND

An integrated mobile and web-based attendance system for real-time monitoring and control.

PT. Dharma Trikarya is a private K3 service company based in Central Java and Yogyakarta, supported by highly competent and professional human resources. With a large workforce consisting of various roles operating both in the field and at the office, the company requires a flexible attendance system accessible from anywhere.

To address this need, a digital attendance application was implemented to record employee presence with location tracking, ensure transparent attendance data, provide work assignment letters for field employees, and enable real-time monitoring through a web-based admin dashboard.

02 - THE BRIEF

Design a mobile and web-based attendance system to manage employee presence in real time.

From this brief, i designed a Mobile Attendance Application integrated with a Web-Based Admin Dashboard to support employees working both in the field and in the office.

The mobile application allows employees to record attendance, manage their profiles, view inspection schedules, track attendance history, and access other presence-related features. The interface is designed to be simple, intuitive, and accessible from anywhere to support daily operational needs.

The admin web dashboard enables administrators to monitor employee attendance, manage schedules, generate reports, view activity through a calendar, and manage employee and supervisor data in real time. This system provides transparent attendance records, improves operational efficiency, and gives management better control over workforce monitoring and decision-making.

Discovery & Research

Based on the acceptance requirements provided by the business analyst, I conducted research to understand business goals, user needs, and system constraints. This research became the foundation for defining features, user flows, and design decisions to support the development of the application.

Design & Prototyping

Based on research findings, user interfaces were designed to address user needs and business requirements. Interactive prototypes were created to visualize user flows, validate features, and test usability, ensuring the design was ready for development and aligned with project goals.

Development & Launch

After the initial development and launch, further improvements were made to address bugs, refine features, and enhance system stability based on testing and user feedback, ensuring the application met quality and performance standards.
